Santa Barbara Waterfront at Stearn's Wharf. After a week laid out with the flu I was dying to get out of the house and into world for a little while at least.
I had a group photowalk scheduled for today but had to reschedule it to allow myself some time to rest up after a weeklong illness. Annoying but it happens once every year. I'm glad to get it out of the way so early on.
Santa Barbara just after a long night of heavy rains. Spectacular light. Partially diffused, with excellent clarity and visibility. The waterfront provided some fair storytelling today. People playing with a pair of pelicans, a fisherman caught a young crab and was showing it to a group of children, an elderly couple was dressed to kill, and I captured a new image for my Iconic Santa Barbara Collection. All in all it was a good hour.
Oh, and wow, #asiantourists #selfiesticks. Heavy day for selfie sticks.
